Engaging Open Data Research

1. I worked alongside the City of Calgary to revamp their open data policies, enabling a safer and more comprehensive data policy. I grounded this in an AI analysis of Calgary's spatial open data inequalities.

2. Over the course of a year, I worked closely with Calgary community associations and non-profit organizations to develop the YYC Data Collective, a platform for data viewing and data sharing. We workshopped the platform over several iterations to make sure it satisfied the needs of our stakeholders. This platform enriched the region's data sharing infrastructure, and attracted over 300 datasets from the community.
